| "Jimmy was an avid listener of mine while I
worked at WDAS in Philadelphia in the late 40's and early 50's. He
came to the station to talk about the music I played, and I found out he
was a pianist. I told him I had all these songs in my head but I
didn't know how to write music. Jimmy told me to just hum the
tunes and he sat down and quickly wrote the scores."
